My dear little monkey may very well be the end of my sanity as I know it. I set him down in his exersaucer for MAYBE 2 minutes while I went to powder my nose and I hear a crash...Monkey has decided to do some rearranging, starting with the lamp on the bedside table:
The glorious cool fall weather has arrivedz, yahoo! However, most of Monkey's fall/winter clothes are still too big so I had to throw on one of the few outfits that fit him and head to the mall. He is looking a little Christmasy in his red and white striped outfit and green hoodie :)

So I am looking at yesterdays picture and smacking myself in the head...it seems that picture was a little foreshadowing. This afternoon Monkey was sleeping after a morning at the doctors office getting diagnosed with Strep throat and getting antibiotics. I was filling out some forms and heard him stirring and started gathering up my things when I heard a loud thump and a cry. I ran to his room, opened the door, and saw no baby in the bed (a horrible feeling). My little Monkey has decided to try crawling out of his bed and had landed on the floor. The nurse in me kicked in, I did a head to toe assessment, did a neuro assessment, reminded myself that he did not lose consciousness...then held him and bawled :). Needless to say, we got his bed lowered as soon as The Hubs got home :).
(We opted for a recliner we could relocate in the house after Monkey got bigger instead of a glider rocker we might only use for a year...and my tush is so glad we did!)

How many monkeys jumping on the bed?
Here we have My Monkey, in his new monkey pajamas, posing with the Poopy Monkey. That's a lot of monkeys jumping on the bed...

In honor of Labor Day, I did what most other Americans did...I sat around and did very little. My big treat of the evening was a long, luxurious shower...it sounds a little unexciting, but I swear it's my personal spa haven in my own home...
once I move the previous inhabitants out of the way:

Don't worry, it's just water :)

There is something about being a witness to someone falling in love, that crazy "can't get enough of each other" new love that is contagious. It makes you reminisce about what what made you fall in love and work harder to get a little piece of the specialness back. My baby sis is in a long distance relationship, much bigger distance than me and The Hubs were when we were dating, and I told her that the five minutes before and the five minutes after you see each other make it all worth it :).

Fall is finally here and I am down right giddy! I love everything about fall: College football, the leaves changing colors, the weather, the clothes, the smells, the holidays...oh, I could go on and on :).
