So with Auntie Jess as my co-pilot, we said our goodbyes and got on the road to back to Oz (and yes I can honestly say that deep down, it never gets any easier to leave your family. Getting to take Jessi with us helped and I tend to cry less when I know when we are going to see each other again!). Auntie Jess and I did lots of talking, music dj-ing, and were super excited about the new travel version of Scattergories.
The boys were perfectly happy to be snuggled up in the back, napping and watching "Cars" on the DVD player:
Auntie Jess snapped this shot and it takes my breath away. It just captures the quiet, loving, strong father The Hubs is and the curious little bundle of energy that the Monkey is :):
