Since I knew I'd be working four days in a row and getting very little Monkey and Hubs time, I tried to make today about fun and not about picking up the house :). What could be more fun than a doctors appointment to start off the day...yup, another ear infection. We have learned that teething = ear infection for Monkey. But while we waited for his antibiotic, we walked, pushed the cart, and enjoyed an aptly named book:
Afterward we headed to our favorite indoor playground where Monkey was unsuccessful in fish wrangling since the fish bucked him off:
(this was actually from another day at the playground, but he wore the same shirt, it's my favorite). But he did manage to climb the big slide by himself and this spent a good 30 minutes climbing up and sliding down...and making friends with a very sweet little girl. It is fascinating to watch the kids interact and people watch the parents a little too :).
