30 years ago today, I arrived kicking and screaming into the world :)!
I tend to avoid the camera when possible but I wanted to make sure I got a picture of myself on my 30th birthday. Sure I am a little chubbier than I would like to be and in desperate need of a tan, but my life is exactly how I always hoped it would be. 
Since I had to work the night before my birthday, we celebrated at midnight with Sprite shots in med cups. My coworkers are saints for putting up with me :).
I came home, slept, picked up Monkey and took him to the park since The Hubs had a install he had to run from home. It wasn't how we had planned it, but I got a cake, flowers, and the customary, practical plant from The Hubs.
I've decided I'm not going to be one of those women who lie about my age. I have lost friends too young and stood witness to people fighting for their lives...I am thankful for every year I have and proud of each one :).
